One of our favourite places in London, Postman’s park, includes a wall
commemorating ordinary people who lost their lives trying to save
others. We always wondered why it was called postman’s park when
there isn’t a post office around, but we learned today that the old
post office (a beautiful old building) is now a Japanese bank.
Actually, they saved the building from being knocked down. They did
the same to another building that was the old Financial Times HQ.
Gotta love the Japanese.
View of St. Paul’s from Queen Victoria Street
Today we went on a walking tour of Queen Victoria St. and old London.
It was rather cold, but quite enjoyable.
Snapped this on the way to Haymarket Theatre to see On the Waterfront.
Walking from Soho to Leicester square to catch the tube, we cut
through Chinatown. No partying tonight, but some decorations were
still dangling in the air, welcoming the year of the Ox.
Amazing photos of London. We are located at the bottom left hand corner of photo 11.
The Gherkin, Tower Bridge, St. Pauls and more!
This shall follow our beef stew, tonight. Yum!
On our way to the Burns party at Andrea and Fraser’s in Canary Wharf.
Haggis and Whiskey and Poetry awaited.

Emily really liked this guys’ outfit. He was picking up his dry cleaning!
The view from the Prime Meridian.
Last weekend we walked from Canary Wharf to Greenwich, under the Thames!
That’s Darwin, also a member, looking down upon the crowd.
