A Mediterranean Salad

I don’t normally photograph our meals, but this one seemed
particularly photogenic and I had my camera out on the dining room
table. It’s a sort of Mediterranean salad of chickpeas cooked with
ginger, spring onions, chillies, cilantro and lemon juice, zatar and
mixed with cous cous and served with pita. Was pretty yummy and very
quick to prepare. Emily added cocoa balsamic to hers. I tried some
tahini. Both added a different element to the already flavourful
salad.
