Sunday Special

Kyle and I woke up to sunny skies and a busy day ahead. We started the morning right with a big fry up and then headed out to the Spitalfields Market. At 11am, it already had a buzzing atmosphere.

Kyle really liked the supercute cupcake bibs but neither of us could scrape together the 10 quid (as we had forgotten to go to the cash machine.)

We then met up with Fera, Ellorie and Nalani and had a fun day in Regent’s Park.
We opted for a picnic lunch on a park bench.

and watched the day go by

We fed ducks, arranged flowers, and Kyle taught Ellorie the art of chasing pigeons.

A magical princess led us to some amazing ‘cupcakes’ in Primrose Hill

Purple sprinkles please

We bid the Princesses adieu and were whisked to the Blue Post pub in Fitzrovia for a drink (still enjoying the lovely weather) with Drew, Jen and Badhri.

After a drink, we crept through the Percy Passage into Charlotte Street for a lovely dinner at Rasa.

Again with WAY too much food (2 veggie specials each with 3 curries, plus a fish curry, plus two dosas, coconut rice and a mango lassi!!). It barely fit on the table.

Afterwards, we opted to tie one off at the literary Fitzroy Tavern before calling it an evening.

A lovely end to a lovely day!
